"Sticks ‘n Skins was inspired by my husband, drummer Michael Lauren.
Folk art and colors influence my work. The skins, used drum heads,
are painted with acrylic which gives them a new life.
After receiving my BFA from The Cooper Union in NYC, I worked on music videos.
Then my career as an illustrator began. I have many published books.
In 2004 I moved to Portugal."
